 Territorial Deception Scents

Wildlife Control using predator urines as animal deception scents to influence the movement of other animals in the wild has been an effective technique for wildlife control hundreds of years. All animals are born with an instinctive fear of their predators. Their keen sense of smell is an early warning device to alert them to danger. Playing on the survival instinct of all creatures to avoid natural predators - or seek out their own kind - has helped hunters and trappers lure animals to their locations, farmers and gardeners to warn pests away, and naturalists and conservationists to study and observe creatures in the wild.

 How It Works

We use only 100% pure, predator urines as deception scents for wildlife control. By simulating the marking technique of a chosen predator, designated areas will carry a scent to warn unwanted critters large and small. Simply place "markers" - our convenient 30-day dispensers or scent darts - every ten to twelve feet around a perimeter. Deer will avoid any garden or convenient yard shrubs with the threat of a coyote near by. Raccoons readily pass on trash-sites to avoid the risk of their coyote enemy as well. We provide five of the most effective scents available for deceiving a wide variety of possible pests...everything from armadillo to moose, raccoon to deer and groundhogs. When wildlife control is essential this is your best answer for a deception scent.

 Is it Safe?
Yes. Home gardeners, professional landscapers, orchards and tree farms, as well as public gardens are using our animal repellants successfully every day. Nothing is applied to your plants, and all of our animal repellants are 100% pure - no harmful sprays or pesticides and as they can with chemicals, animals never overcome the fear that a predator may be lurking close by.

Predator urines are safe for the animals they are taken from as well! All urines are collected naturally from domestically raised animals on farms that are controlled by appropriate state and federal agencies.

 How to Use Urines

The Predator Urine concept is based upon the principal of duplicating the use of urine by animals in the wild. Predators mark the perimeter of their territory with urine helping prey like deer and other animals tell whether an area is safe or dangerous. When using our Scent Darts, place them into the ground every 10-12 feet around the designated area and saturate with the appropriate Predator Urine. Reapply every 7-10 days or immediately after rain. It is recommended that Scent Darts be placed out of reach of sprinklers or irrigation systems. An 8oz bottle should be enough for 3 applications to a 400 square-foot area.

If you are using our 30 Day Dispensers, fill them to just below the holes with Predator Urine and hang every 10-12 feet from a tree or a free-standing stake. For deer, be sure to place the Dispenser bottles at nose level. For smaller animals, they should be hung closer to the ground. Refresh with urine every 30 days. An 8oz bottle should be sufficient to cover a 400 square-foot area for 30 days. We do not recommend squirting the urine directly on plants or other living vegetation.
